Google recently announced that starting April 21, 2015 their algorithm will make a change that will give a better page rank to mobile friendly sites.

According to StatTracker mobile internet usage has increased by 73% in the last year. Square World Media sees over 50% mobile usage on our customers sites.

In a blog post on the Google Webmaster Blog they say, “Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.”
